In this tour program, we propose a selection of the most beautiful gardens in the ochre city.
Agdal Gardens:
The Agdal Gardens are located near of Dar El Makhzen Palace, those historical gardens are considered as the oldest Islamic gardens in Marrakech created during the Almohad Dynasty in the 12th century. The gardens have several terraces, a typical place for pleasure and contemplation that allows discovering Marrakech from a different angle.
In the heart of the gardens there is several kinds of fruit trees (orange, olive, pomegranate and apricot trees...), ponds that were used as swimming courses, games and sports competitions for soldiers.
The Agdal Gardens are open to visitors every Friday and Sunday afternoon.

Menara Gardens:
The Menara means (lighthouse) and comes from the Garden Pavilion which was built during the period of the Saadian dynasty in the 16th century. This pavilion overlooks a large basin using an ancient hydraulic system to provide water from the surrounding mountains. The basin was mainly used to irrigate the big gardens planted with about forty kind of olive trees.
The Menara gardens are located at few kilometers from the Medina, a real haven of peace much appreciated by Marrakchi families for several years, an ideal place for picnics and relaxation away from the noise of the city. These gardens also constitute a refuge during the hot days of summer.
Don't miss to immerse yourself in the heart of the magnificent olive grove gardens.
Majorelle Gardens:
Founded by the French artist Jacques Majorelle in 1931, who was inspired from the city's oases, Islamic gardens and Hispano-Moorish gardens. These botanical gardens contain about 3000 exotic plants and welcome over than 600,000 visitors each year.
Inside the gardens there is a Berber museum offering a selection of jewelry and ancestral Berber objects collected from several regions of the kingdom. The visit to the museum is animated by photographs and documentary movies.
