Zagora is a moroccan city located in the Souss-Massa-Drâa, in southern Morocco and surrounded by some beautiful valleys and kasbahs. From this point, the desert is very close and the landscapes become more deserted and attractive.
While discovering this beautiful region you will see that Zagora is a favorite destination for lovers of cinema and art-deco architecture. Zagora has an impressive cultural diversity which is not only in terms of architecture: monuments, ksours and kasbahs but also in the multi-ethnic population origins from Amazigh and Africo-Arab civilizations.
We invite you on this 2-day excursion to visit Zagora, the Draa Valley, Ouarzazate and Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou :
1st day: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Zagora
Early departure across the High Atlas and the wonderfull Tizi N'Tichka pass, located at 2260 meters of height. Then we continue to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a wonderful historical palace, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Several films have been shot in this ksar, such us: the mommy, Gladiator, Seven years in Tibet, Babel... After a lunch break, continuation to Zagora along the Draa Valley, an amazing oasis with palm groves and rivers... At about 5 Km from Zagora, you can enjoy 1 hour of camel ride, in an exceptional natural environment, where the air is so pure, where nothing disturbs the silence, and where we could hear ourselves thinking...
In the evening, you will see one of the most beautiful sunset on the planet. Dinner and night in Bivouac.
2nd day: Zagora - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
After breakfast, discover the palm grove and meet the locals, a rich and diversified cultural heritage... lunch in Ouarzazate, visit of the Kasbah Taourirt and one of the film studios before the return to Marrakech.

“Amazing night! Thank you Hamid!” Our guide's name was Hamid and he was absolutely amazing to us all. Super friendly and helpful. He gave us all sorts of information along the way and gave us plenty of time to see the areas where we stopped. The desert night was fantastic: great acomodation, great food, great music. Breakfast was the best ever! Me and my group were sad to leave! We where 7 people and we went for a 2days-one night from Marrakesh to Zagora. It was a long drive, but totally worth it! Although, we where not in the middle of the desert it felt that way because our camp site was hidden away. The staff was super friendly and welcoming.
